Welcome!
I am currently a Biodiversity Postdoctoral Fellow in the Biodiversity Research Centre at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC. In January 2011 I will move to Tucson, Arizona, where I will start as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Arizona. My work is broadly focussed on the evolution of biodiversity and integrates bioinformatic, phylogenomic, and evolutionary genomic approaches to better understand the origins of diversity. Most of my current research addresses the role of abrupt genomic events - polyploidy, chromosomal change, and hybridization - in plant evolution. To learn more about my current and past research, take a look at my research page and publications. Please feel free to contact me with questions or requests.
